Link Arms With Us to Create a Ripple of Change

Your generosity has a far-reaching impact, helping us meet urgent needs, expand our support services, and walk alongside survivors as they begin to reclaim their stories.

Whether it’s a monetary donation, a thoughtful gift card, or a daily necessity that you feel called to provide, your support helps us nurture resilience, restore dignity, and build a stronger, more inclusive community, one person or family at a time.

How You Can Help

  • We gratefully accept monetary donations, with all funds directly benefitting the individuals and families who access our services at Cythera Transition House. We accept these donations online through our Canada Helps page, our in-person at Cythera’s Administrative Offices, 22768 119 Avenue, Maple Ridge BC.

  • Each holiday season, we’re deeply moved by the generosity of the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and Katzie First Nations communities. Your support brings light, warmth, and dignity to the lives of the women, children, and families who access our services, especially during a time that can feel heavy or uncertain.

The most meaningful way to support our Christmas Sponsorship Program is through the donation of gift cards. These contributions provide more than just practical help - they offer choice, empowerment, and a sense of normalcy. With your help, our clients can shop for what their families truly need, in ways that feel personal and respectful.

Clients are invited to “shop” from our gift card binder, selecting the stores that best fit their needs and holiday hopes. Every card donated is a step toward restoring independence and creating moments of joy.

Gift cards we’re grateful to receive include:

    • Grocery and gas stations (our most urgent need)

    • Local small businesses

    • Clothing stores and shopping centres

    • Pharmacies and wellness stores

    • Beauty, bath and spa retailers

    • Outdoor and sporting goods shops

    • Online retailers

Thanks to the kindness of our community, the women who turn to Cythera during the holidays—and throughout the year—are able to care for their families in an empowering, dignified way. Thank you for making the season brighter.

  • A simple gift card can go a long way in bringing relief, comfort, and dignity to someone navigating a difficult time.

Whether it’s for a grocery store, gas station, coffee shop, movie theatre, or local business, your donation helps ease everyday pressures for the women, children, and families we support. Gift cards provide flexibility and choice, allowing our clients to meet their own needs in ways that feel empowering and respectful.

  • Each person who stays at Cythera Transition House is offered fresh pyjamas and undergarments, a small but powerful gesture that helps create a sense of safety and belonging during an otherwise uncertain time.

By donating new sleepwear and undergarments in a variety of sizes, you help us wrap each person in warmth and reassurance as they begin their journey toward healing.

  • Are you looking for a meaningful way to support survivors in your community? Hosting a third-party fundraiser is a beautiful way to raise awareness and inspire others to give.

Whether you’re planning a workplace initiative, school event, community drive, or personal campaign, your efforts help us extend care and resources to the individuals and families we serve.

We’d love to hear your ideas and support you in getting started.

    Let’s Connect

We are so grateful to everyone who supported our thrift store prior to its closure in 2019. Thanks to your generosity, countless women, children, and families have felt cared for and supported. Unfortunately we are no longer able to accept used donations, but are appreciative of your kindness and willingness to support.

Your Generosity Makes All the Difference
