Stopping the Violence Program

The Stopping the Violence program (STV) offers self-identifying women and non-binary individuals an opportunity to address experiences of abuse from a client centered and strengths-based perspective. The STV program is suitable for those who have historic or current experiences of domestic violence, sexual assault and sexual abuse. We serve those who live in the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Katzie communities.

SERVICES OFFERED:

  • Psychoeducational Groups and Workshops - Learn More

  • Safety Planning and Risk Assessment

  • Education about abuse and the impact it has on ones life

  • Exit planning

  • Support in navigating and accessing external resources

  • First-stage individual counselling, offered in-person or by phone. This program does not offer Clinical Counselling.
